Version-aware answers for War of Genesis: Idle Loot, organized around the exact choice, blocked screen, or missing purchase in front of you.
Choose the task and the state you can actually see. The desk gives one reversible next step and one owner guide, with no mystery score.

Each guide starts with a direct answer, protects irreversible actions, and links every factual claim back to its evidence.
First session / reversible choices first
Start by learning the idle loop, keep uncertain gear, and delay irreversible selling or paid purchases until you can identify the item, its rarity, and where it will be delivered. Pick a class for your current mode—not from a universal tier list—and treat every Early Access balance claim as temporary.
Open field noteClass decision / mode before ranking
There is no source-backed universal best class yet. Launch-week players describe Ranger as a comfortable PvE choice, Mage as fragile burst that can clear some stages quickly, and Knight as dangerous in PvP after its passive triggers. Treat those as testable player reports, then choose for the mode blocking you now.
Open field noteBuild lab / explain the result
Keep one baseline loadout, change one ability or order at a time, and judge the result against the mode that blocks you. A creator’s “best setup” is a useful reproduction target, not a permanent answer. Save the class, stage, gear, ability order and failure point so the result can be checked after a patch.
Open field noteLoot triage / protect irreversible value
Keep the item when you cannot identify its rarity, class use, replacement or market state. Synthesize only a verified matching set you can afford to lose. Sell only after checking that the item is not your best viable piece, a class-switch fallback or a needed input. Price and success-rate guesses do not belong in the decision.
Open field noteInventory automation / check the current tier setting
Auto-Combine opens from the bottom of Inventory at User Level 17. The September 17 update announcement adds a target-tier setting for Jewels to the existing Equipment and Accessories controls. Look for that setting in your updated client and test one small batch before leaving it on. The six-item combine count remains a player report.
Open field noteMarket delivery / reversible checks first
For a completed purchase on an updated client, check Inventory first: the September 17 announcement says purchased or retrieved Market items should go there directly. The September 14 FAQ describes an older Storage List > Claim > Mailbox route, worth checking for an unresolved older item. If neither path works, save the transaction and screen states for support. Do not buy it again.
Open field noteSix official Steam images establish the interface and game loop. Player videos add context; they load only after you choose one.

Official notices flow into affected guide pages. Community questions enter a review queue; repetition alone does not turn them into facts.
A hotfix notice says the Synthesis Success Rate display will be corrected after reconnecting. The notice describes the display error but does not publish the base rate or confirm deployment completion.
Read impact mapA level 29 player describes Ranger as comfortable for PvE farming, recommends comparing stages by useful drops and timed EXP or Gold, and reports that Ability Unlock line bonuses use the lowest rank in the combination. These are account-specific observations, not confirmed formulas or a universal build.
Read original threadA player reports reaching roughly level 37 and Very-Hard, then identifies skill builds, Jewel use, dismantling versus combining and system interactions as poorly explained. The author discloses submitting the post to the developer's review event, so this remains a reward-linked player report rather than independent proof.
